2020 Woodlands Brook Clémentine

‘Clémentine’ is our Woodlands Brook Vineyard Cabernet blend. Produced since 2015, the wine takes its name from Andrew and Marie’s daughter.

Our 2020 is a blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, and 7% Malbec and 6% Petit Verdot.

This wine sings of its soil - evoking the powerful gravel and clay of its site.

Deep crimson in colour, the 2020 'Clementine' has a seductive nose featuring ripe dark red fruits, tight grain toasty oak, and lifted notes of lavender and rosemary.

The palate continues with a core of blackberry and mulberry sitting over a bed of ripe but mineral tannin, and soft acidity.

The finish is long and very mineral - it's baby Bordeaux!

This wine will be best enjoyed between 2028- 2030.
