2022 Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot

Our 2022 Wilyabrup Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot is a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot, and 3% Malbec matured in French barriques for 14 months.

Deep crimson in colour, the nose is vibrant - violet mingling with white spice and clove. The palate is medium-bodied, showing juicy red cherries, damson and blue fruits. The fruits are balanced by bright natural acidity, while fine-grained, lingering tannins stretch out the finish.

Rich but with freshness and drive, this wine will be best enjoyed from 2030 to 2033.

Pair with lamb shank ragu, fresh pappardelle and rosemary. Or try a mushroom Dahl with roti bread.
