2024 Watson Family Chardonnay

Vintage 2024 experienced mild weather patterns with warmer days and cooler nights, retaining fresh acidity in wines and concentrate flavours.

This wine is sourced from local Wilyabrup Valley vineyards.

Winemaking is simple and hands off - harvested, destemmed, sorted, and gently pressed. Fermentation proceeded without additions- up to 4 weeks in a mix of new and seasoned French barrels. The wine was then transferred to tank to retain freshness and acidity, before bottling in late June.

Our 2024 Chardonnay is pale gold in colour. On the nose, it flares nuances of nectarine, apricot, pink lady apple, lemon rind and cashew.

The orchard fruits carry through to the palate, together with notes of grapefruit, stone fruit, and grilled nuts. Soft natural acidity delivers a refreshing finish to the wine.
